About Stormy Winns Cane Corso
Moses
Born: May 2007
Okay, so he's not a Corso....but he sure is cute!
Moses is an African Grey Parrot and the newest member of our pack, he will most likely learn to bark long before he learns
to talk!

We have been together since 1996; one of the many things we have in common is our love of dogs and how much
we enjoy sharing our lives with them. Between the two of us we have 5 children; we both work full time jobs and enjoy spending
time with our family and friends which pretty much consists of other “dog people”!
We
began researching the Cane Corso in 1999, we did not intend to show, breed or work dogs we just wanted a good family pet.
We bought our first Corso in 2000 and have been hooked ever since. We began showing in 2002 and look forward to getting more
involved with agility and working events.
We
live on 6 acres, mostly wooded which in the very near future we hope to clear and make a training/agility field.
We
are volunteers with a rescue group that deals with “Bully Breeds”, we are responsible for rescuing the Corso and we couldn't be happier. We have
been doing rescue on our own for the past few years and have had many rewarding, successful experiences. We are also proud
members of the ASPCA.
I
am certified in obedience training and we are both AKC approved evaluators for the Canine Good Citizen test. We
are members of the Cane Corso Association of America, David is in charge of the Photo Contest and I am in charge of the health
articles for the quarterly chronicle. We are both very passionate about dogs and enjoy working, training and problem
solving. Even the most timid dogs respond to us positively and we find it very rewarding to rehabilitate dogs with
behavior issues. We work with our dogs every day in one aspect or another. I do most of the obedience training and David who
has become our official dog “handler” works
with them for the show ring.

The best way to reach
us is by E-mail. We both work full time and spend a great deal of time outside taking care of the dogs when we get home
from work. We have training classes a couple evenings a week and our weekends are spent at dog shows or opening
our home/kennels to the public to visit with our dogs.
If you leave
a message on our phone and we don't get back to you right away, we are NOT ignoring you or being rude....we are
just VERY busy!
E-mailing is easier
because we can sneak away at work and answer e-mails and we can answer e-mails in the middle of the night without
disturbing anyone!
